This handcrafted bolt-action pen blends mechanical motion, fidget-friendly design, and modern fabrication into a unique everyday carry.
Built using the Penn State Industries Gear Shift Bolt-Action Pen Kit, the pen features a freely spinning tire-shaped top that acts as a subtle fidget. The gear-shift–style bolt-action mechanism smoothly extends and retracts the pen tip with a satisfying, mechanical feel.
Each pen is finished with a custom 3D-printed blank, carefully resin-filled and infused with glow-in-the-dark material. In normal lighting, the pen showcases depth and texture. In low light, it reveals a soft glow for a hidden visual detail.
Every pen is handcrafted in small batches, making each one one of a kind.
